This is an example of a common corporate explainer video. While not unique in the motion design space, they offer very large corporations the benefits of technology ambiguity, diversity in race representation, and policy abstraction. Because they represent so many entities that span culture, language and technology, this stylistic approach allows for concepts to remain applicable across a broad company spectrum. When I develop sequences like these, I try to focus on creative transitions and meaningful symbols. This particular piece was played on a loop on large screens at a corporate event, so the pacing is a bit slower and the graphics are intentionally simplified for optimal viewing at a distance.
