These two pieces were very ambitious, and despite being produced in 2016, I’m still really proud of them! They feature heavy integration between 3D and 2D hand-drawn animation. In “The Storm”, the I love the deep anxiety created by the ocean of bills, and the effect of feeling financially “underwater”. In “The Climber”, I really went down the rabbit hole with dynamic character movement, and I’m thrilled with the weight and momentum that comes through in both the climbing and falling sequences. In both pieces, the music, sound FX and voice over talent really sell the final result. A great example of everything coming together successfully in a mini campaign!
